Virat Kohli’s struggles continued in the second ODI against England at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, as he fell cheaply once again. The star Indian batter, who came in at number three, managed just five runs before falling victim to a brilliant delivery from Adil Rashid. This dismissal marked yet another frustrating outing for Kohli, raising concerns about his form ahead of the Champions Trophy.

The moment of dismissal came in the 20th over of India’s chase, just after Shubman Gill had departed. Kohli walked in to join skipper Rohit Sharma, looking to steady the innings. However, England captain Jos Buttler’s tactical move to introduce Adil Rashid into the attack worked wonders.

The leg-spinner, known for his guile and sharp turn, produced a delivery that completely outfoxed Kohli. Bowling from over the wicket, Rashid floated up a beautifully tossed delivery, tempting Kohli into a drive.

The veteran batter took a confident stride forward, only for the ball to grip and turn sharply, taking the outside edge of his bat. The on-field umpire initially ruled it not out, but England immediately opted for a review.
