Virat Kohli smashed another century at the R Premadasa Stadium

On Sunday, India captain Virat Kohli yet again produced a match-winning innings while chasing, to register a six-wicket win in the fifth and the final ODI against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Also, this was Kohli’s 18th century away from home in ODIs and now he holds the record along with former India skipper Sourav Ganguly. Tendulkar leads this list as well as his 29 tons came outside India.

During the course of his innings, Kohli also surpassed the 1000-run milestone in this calendar year. This means that Kohli has now scored 1000 runs five times in the last seven years (missed out in 2015 & 2016). If he manages to do it two more times then he will go onto equal Tendulkar’s record.

On Monday morning Virat was once again spotted at the R. Premadasa Stadium. When asked that for what purpose he revisited the stadium, Kohli jokingly replied that he came back to have a look at the scoreboard which was still displaying that he played an unbeaten knock.

However, on a serious note, Kohli said that he went to the stadium for a promotional shoot for Puma which is very close to his heart. Despite the fact that Virat didn’t reveal the actual purpose of the shoots, it still seems pretty exciting.

Virat shared a series of videos of his revisit with his fans, here are the videos:
