The Indian power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are regarded as stalwarts of their respective industries. Over the years, both the individuals have established their stature in cricket and films. The couple got hitched in December 2017 in a fairytale wedding in Italy. However, on the occasion of Anushka’s 32nd birthday, her husband took it to Twitter to show his love towards his wife.

“You my love bring light into this world. And you light up my world every day. I love you,” wrote Kohli on Twitter while celebrating Anushka’s birthday at home.

 

Recently, the couple gathered a lot of limelight after Anushka had shared a hilarious video on her Instagram. In the clip, she acted like one of the fans whom Virat would be missing nowadays. She yelled out Kohli’s name several times in the video and asked him to hit a four. She moves the camera towards the Indian skipper where he was seen with an irritated expression. The hilarious video had garnered much attention across social media.

Captioning the video, Anushka wrote: “I thought he must be missing being on the field. Along with the love he gets from millions of fans, he must be especially missing this one particular type of fan too. So I gave him the experience.”

Meanwhile, the couple has been quite active in social media as the country is under lockdown to tackle the coronavirus pandemic. The COVID-19 outbreak has taken a toll across the globe as more than 2 lakh individuals have lost their lives due to the pandemic. Talking about India, more than 1000 deaths have occurred and lockdown in the country has been extended for two more weeks after May 3.

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the much-awaited IPL 2020 has also been postponed indefinitely. Virat Kohli, who was set to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in the thirteenth edition of the cash-rich league, will have to wait a while to lead the side.
