The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, and his wife Anushka Sharma went on to reveal the name of their first child on Monday with an adorable picture on Instagram. The power couple witnessed the birth of a baby girl on January 11 this year and have decided to name her Vamika.
Captioning the post, Anushka wrote: “We have lived together with love, presence, and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears , laughter , worry , bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers and good energy.” Replying on the post, Virat Kohli wrote: “My whole life in one frame”.

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya reacted with a heart on the post. Virat Kohli had left the Australian tour after the first Test home from Australia in December for his paternity leave as Anushka was expected to deliver in January.

Kohli played the ODIs and T20I series before leading the Indian team in the first pink-ball Test in Adelaide which the visitors lost drastically after getting bundled out for 36 in their second innings on Day 3.
Virat Kohli played the knocks of 74 and 4 runs in the Pink-ball Test while the rest of his teammates failed to fire with the bat as India went down by 8 wickets.

Ajinkya Rahane then became the Indian skipper for the last three Tests in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane to complete a famous series win on Australian soil. Kohli has returned to the Indian squad and is currently in Chennai preparing to lead the Indian team in the upcoming four-match Test series against England starting February 5.
