Indian skipper Virat Kohli was seen very impressive during his first press talk after touching down South African land. He believes India has the metal to overpower South Africa in their own backyard to register a historic test series win.

India is on a tough overseas tour of Rainbow nation, where they will play three Tests apart from six ODIs and three T20Is. The tour will kick off from January 5 in Cape Town with the test leg first, following by limited-over series.

Talking about India’s performance in over there, Kohli said “Our best result here has been a drawn series in 2010-11 but I feel the kind of bowling attack we have now and the balance we have in the side, we definitely can win here. There are no two ways about it.”

“We come here wanting to express ourselves, believing in our abilities and knowing we have the right balance to win Test matches under any conditions we play under,” he further added.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old looked very optimistic with his team’s approach and is in no mood to leave any stone unturned to create history in Africa.

“If we didn’t have that mindset, there would be no point getting on to the flight to come here,” Kohli stated.
