The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli has been one of the biggest ambassadors of fitness in the cricketing world today. He has undergone tremendous changes over time since making his international debut in 2008, in terms of his fitness. Kohli has not only made himself the fittest but has inspired the Indian team to get fit as well.

Kohli, along with head coach Ravi Shastri has made Indian team fitness conscious and gave them dietary knowledge which has gotten them faster on the field and the running between the wickets has improved as well. Virat has given up most of his indulgences and has even turned vegan in order to give his body the nutrition in the purest form.

Along with his physique, Virat also started the trend of bearded look in Team India, which led to almost every member of the Indian squad growing beards. Kohli’s look with his athletic physique and chiseled jawline has witnessed a rapid increase in his fanbase, who follows him for his fashion and looks, apart from his cricketing ability.

Recently, Kohli shared a photo on Instagram showing his transformation from being a chubby teen to being the chiseled skipper of the Indian team. He also tagged Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja to join in and share their photos of transformations.

As the decade of 2010 comes to an end, Virat Kohli ended up being on most of the XIs of the decade shared by various publications, given that he made more than 11,000 ODI runs in the decade, with the help of 42 centuries and 52 half-centuries with 1038 fours and 115 sixes to his name.
