There is no denying the fact that the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli is one of the most followed sports personalities in eth country as he enjoys an immensely huge fan following across the world and the India captain is greeted by them both on and off the field.

During the One-day International (ODI) series opener against Australia on Tuesday, one Kohli’s fan, Chirag Khilare, stole the show with his unique haircut that resembled the India skipper’s face on the back of his head. Chirag Khilare took to Twitter to post a picture of his unique haircut. Captioning the picture of him with the hair-cut, Chirag wrote: “The best @imVkohli From heart to head #viratianchirag”.

As per the quotes in ANI, talking about his hair-cut, Khilare said, “For many years now, I have been following Virat in every match in India and have been a fan of him since he became the captain of the Under-19 team. My dream is to meet Kohli and when I will meet him, I will first touch his feet and hug him and capture that moment through a photograph.”

After being asked to bat, India made a slow start to their innings after losing Rohit Sharma early. Kohli’s idea to step down the order also did not pay off as he was dismissed after scoring just 16 runs by Adam Zampa. At a moment, India did not look like crossing the 250-run mark, however, just before Shreyas Iyer’s rare failure lead to Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja rebuilding the innings in the 33rd over. The duo did well to stitch a 49-run partnership for the 6th wicket. But Pat Cummins came back for a spell to dismiss Pant and soon Jadeja fell.

Whenever India seemed to be gaining some momentum, Australia managed to get a wicket and eventually the home side could only post 255 runs. Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers as he returning with impressive figures of 3/56 as Cummins and Kane Richardson picked a couple of wickets each.Â
