The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli has always been known for keeping his fitness standards the priority and that’s teh reason behind him not skipping daily workouts and the training regime even when the rest of his squad is enjoying a break in England. The Indian Test squad is currently on a two-week break in the United Kingdom after playing the ICC World Test Championship Final against New Zealand last month.
However, Virat Kohli doesn’t seem to understand the concept of off days and was seen sweating it out in a gym on Tuesday. The 32-year-old posted a video on his social media accounts in which he can be seen excising his back and legs in a dimly lit place that seems like a make-shift gymnasium.

Virat Kohli and his men recently suffered a loss against New Zealand in the maiden World Test Championship final by 8 wickets in Southampton. His next challenge will be the upcoming 5-match Test series against England which starts from August 4.

The five-match series will be played in front of packed crowds after UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the lifting of Covid-19 related restrictions on Monday.
The Indian cricketers will reassemble on July 14 to begin their preparations for the series which will go on for almost 40 days and the matches will be players in Nottingham, London, Leeds, and Manchester. India is set to play a warm-up match against a ‘Select County XI’ ahead of their first Test against England in Nottingham.

The three-day match will be accorded the first-class status and the team, which was earlier called the ‘Combined Counties’ will consist of players from the County circuit. The tentative dates for the practice game are between July 20-22.
