Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) locked horns with each in the 50th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The start of the game between the two Titans saw a heartfelt thing taking place. The Indian stalwart, Virat Kohli was seen touching the feet of his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma.

In the video that has gone viral on the internet, the RCB batter can be seen walking towards the coach and touching his feet. The duo then can be seen talking to each other for a while.

The blessing of Sharma however, came in handy for Virat Kohli as he continued his golden touch and smashed another half-century in the league. He kept his side in the hunt despite the wicket being slow. He scored 55 runs and made sure that his side didn’t lose momentum.

Rajkumar Sharma revealed that when Virat Kohli became the Indian captain, he called him and that was a very emotional moment for him. He elaborated: “When Virat Kohli became the captain in all formats, he called me & said ‘Sir, I used to come on cycle keeping the kit bag on the front, then we wouldn’t have thought I would reach here’ – That was a very emotional moment.”
