Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, Virat Kohli on Sunday apologized to the people of Bangalore and RCB fans for their horror run in the ongoing Indian Premier League season of 2017. RCB were on a torrid run throughout the season, Kohli being a leader took all the blame oh himself and apologized on Twitter for the team’s poor season minutes after the loss to Kolkata Knight Riders.

Kohli went on to thank the people of Bangalore for showing genuine love on the Bangalore outfit even after losing several games on a trot. Surprisingly, Royal Challengers Bangalore have only managed 2 wins in this season of IPL out of the 13 matches they have played.

Everything went wrong with RCB in this season as the whole team was plagued by injuries which led to the loss of balance in the batting unit. the below par performances from batting mainstays Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Shane Watson and AB de Villiers affected the team badly, also the 2nd biggest buy in the auction Tymal Mills also failed to impress.

RCB next faces a struggling Delhi Daredevils on May 14th at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi and would probably want to end the season on a high. RCB are currently on the verge of finishing at the bottom of the table after being runner-up in the previous season.
