Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli recently unveiled his newly constructed holiday retreat in Alibaug, offering fans a sneak peek into his personal sanctuary. Located in the scenic coastal town south of Mumbai, the sprawling getaway spans over a 10,000-square-foot plot in one of the country’s most upscale locales.
In a video tour shared by Avas Wellness, Kohli emphasized that a home is a reflection of one’s personality and revealed his preference for a peaceful retreat away from the rigors of professional sports. The four-bedroom villa, designed in the Californian Konkan architectural style, boasts high ceilings that invite ample natural light through large windows and glass walls.
The two-story abode exudes a light and airy ambiance, featuring a cozy living room deliberately absent of a television. Kohli explained that this design choice encourages family conversations, making the living space conducive to shared moments. A notable feature of the villa is the double-height cut-out ceiling in the living area, enhancing the inflow of natural light.
