The saga of the split between the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Anil Kumble seems to be widened more. According to the recent reports, Kohli walked out on Kumble during net practice in England for ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

Recently, BCCI alleged Anil Kumble of making public the private WhatsApp messages between the two parties. BCCI have hovered a position of head coach for Team India, to be chosen by the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), which comprises of VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, and Sachin Tendulkar. The report also pretended that Indian players and skipper Virat Kohli do not approve of Kumble’s overpowering attitude in the dressing room.

While it still needs to be clarified that what went wrong between the two pillars of Indian cricket. It has been speculated that the two were having conflicts over the decision of the inclusion of young chinaman bowler in the India-Australia series. It has also been said that BCCI was having problems with Kumble since he asked for an unjustified hike for himself and the team.

However, BCCI is trying to control the things right now, by rejecting reports of any split between the two parties and Kumble and Virat, however, scenes at the Oval on Tuesday evening showed that not everything is going well.

As head coach Anil Kumble cornered the nets, Virat Kohli saw him and walked away from the nets, thus stoking the fire of the alleged rift. However, this incident has given media and news houses a free ride to assume and report as they please.
