The ongoing week has brought a lot of laurels to the Indian skipper Virat Kohli as just a couple of days back he was conferred with the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, which is the country’s highest honor in Indian for a sportsperson. He attended that event with his wife, actor Anushka Sharma. Kohli’s wardrobe for the occasion was a sharp suit, a theme we see in most of his looks, but if given a choice, who will the skipper’s pick as a sartorial icon?
Apart from being a successful cricketer, is also a trendsetter as far as style statements are concerned. He is wary about his looks and resorts to the latest apparels doing the rounds. He has a chiseled body and also sports a well-trimmed beard, which adds to his near-flawless appearance.
However, on Thursday, when Kohli in an event where unveiled the Tissot Chrono XL Classic Virat Kohli special edition watch, he revealed that he is bowled over by Anushka’s wardrobe choices too. He admitted that if there was one person’s closet he’d like to raid, it would only be his wife’s.

Anushka is a renowned Bollywood actress and has to take care of her looks and hence has to maintain a trendy wardrobe. As per the reports of Vogue India, describing the same, Vira said, “I would like to raid Anushka’s wardrobe. She’s very stylish and she styles me a lot as well. She is responsible for my well-curated cool looks if you guys think they’re cool.”
Kohli is currently the top-ranked batsman in Tests and One Day Internationals. Recently, he played the Test series against England and finished as the leading run-scorer in the series with 593 runs from five matches at an incredible average of 59.3. Virat is currently on a break as Rohit Sharma is leading the men in blue in the ongoing Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Kohli is likely to return in the national squad for the upcoming Test, ODI and T20I series against Windies, starting next month.
In the interview, Kohli also revealed how much inputs he had given during the customization of the watch. The watch is limited to 3018 pieces only: 18 because of Virat’s Indian Team jersey number, and also because this year in 2018, he will be celebrating my 30th birthday this year.
