Virat Kohli Wins Another Award Related To Instagram

The veteran Bollywood star, Priyanka Chopra has been awarded the most followed account in Indian on Instagram while the account of the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli has emerged as the most engaging account of the year at the Instagrammer of the Year 2019 awards in Mumbai on Thursday. The awards aim at acknowledging Instagram’s most engaging community members across the country.

Here are the winners announced during the award:

  • With 39 million followers, a global fan base, and many international assignments, Bollywood diva, Priyanka Chopra Jonas (@priyankachopra) emerged as the “Most Followed Account” of 2019.
  • Deepika Padukone (@deepikapadukone) was awarded as the “Storyteller of the Year” for her impromptu boomerangs and regular stories which are the most engaging ones as well.
  • From providing a sneak peek into the locker room, to his grueling training sessions or an off-field selfie, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli (@virat.kohli) emerged as the most “Engaged Account of the Year”.
  • Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95), who recently made her Bollywood debut, also made her Instagram debut in 2018 and wins the “Rising Star Award” for witnessing significant growth in her fan base in 2018-19.
  • Macaron queen, Chef Pooja Dhingra (@poojadhingra), won the “Food Account of the Year”, recognizing her for her creative and detectable food content.
  • Youtuber & singer, Bhuvan Bam (@bhuvan.bam22), who has been known for making the one of the funniest on the internet, won the “Entertainment Account of the Year” award.
  • Fashionista Sejal Kumar (@sejalkumar1195), with her chic photoshoots and street style posts, was awarded the “Fashion Account of the Year”.
