Virat Kohli Working-out Hard During In Quarantine In Chennai

On Friday, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli took to Instagram to post a video on Instagram working out inside a hotel room. Kohli and other Indian players, part of the Test squad, are currently in quarantine ahead of the Test series against England, which is scheduled to be commencing on February 5. Kohli will be leading the side after missing the last three Test matches against Australia as he had returned home for the birth of his first child.

In the video, Virat Kohli can be seen working out on an indoor exercise bike, with a Punjabi song playing in the background. Captioning the video, Kohli said, “PropheC music and gym equipment is all you need during quarantine days. Work can be put in anywhere if you really want to. have a great day everyone.”

Apart from Kohli, other players have also been going through their quarantine period in the team hotel ahead of the all-important Test series. Kohli’s deputy in TestsAjinkya Rahane, who led India to a historic series win Down Under earlier this month, also has shared several posts on Instagram offering a sneak peek into his hotel quarantine to his fans.

The veteran Indian opener Rohit Sharma on Thursday shared a picture with wife his Ritika Sajdeh on his Instagram story. The picture clicked in the balcony of the hotel room, showed the couple sitting on the balcony with a beautiful background. 

Team India has not lost a home Test series since 2012 and incidentally, England being the last team that went away with a Test series win on Indian soil.

The upcoming four-match Test series against England will also play a key role in determining if India, who are currently leading the charts in the World Test Championship, will be playing the final at the iconic Lord’s cricket ground in England.
