Virat Kohli’s Wax Statue Got Damaged At Madame Tussauds

The wax statues of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli hasn’t gone down well with Delhi people, as they have damaged the right ear. Well, according to some of the reports, the right ear is broken because the place got overcrowded and which eventually led to the mishappening. Earlier, Virat Kohli, who himself is a Delhite, was also present at the unveiling of the statue. There is no foul play and that is what the reports suggest now.

Iconic Madame Tussauds museum attracts a lot of visitors who come to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars in reel. It is also a trend that people are spotted clicking pictures and selfies, when inside the museum.

Meanwhile, Anshul Jain, the museum director, said, “Virat Kohli has made tremendous contributions to national and international cricket. His passion and commitment to the Indian cricket team have inspired many youngsters. We had to get his statue after lots of requests from his fans.”

During the preparations of the statue, it has been said that 200 different pictures were taken of the Indian captain. Here is the image of Virat Kohli’s statue at the Madame Tussauds in Delhi. The pictures show different angles. It seriously looks very close to real.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli who was supposed to represent Surrey County Club in June will miss out due to a neck strain. The County season was set up to so that the Indian skipper gets a good exposure of the English conditions ahead of India’s awaited Ireland and England tour. But it seems Surrey CC is already looking for Virat’s replacement. It can be treated as a blessing in disguise for Kohli as he got the much-needed break ahead of the grueling UK tour.
