On Friday, the Indian fast bowler Thangarasu Natarajan made his Test debut at Gabba in the Brisbane Test and with it became the first Indian cricketer to make his international debut across all three formats during the same tour. However, former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag took to social media to congratulate Natarajan and said that his story is what ‘dreams are made of’.
Talking about the same, Virender Sehwag had tweeted, “Natarajan’s story is a stuff dreams are made of. Feel delighted for the young man.”

The tour of Australia has only gotten better for Natarajan as he was earlier picked for it as a net bowler after a good performance for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020. He had managed to scalp 16 wickets for SRH as his team bowed out in the Eliminator of the tournament, and was crowned as the yorker specialist.

T Natarajan got the opportunity to make his international debut in the third ODI against Australia on December 2 in Canberra, which India won by 13 runs, after coming in as a back-up for Navdeep Saini who had a back niggle. Natarajan made an immediate impact by taking two wickets for 70 runs from his 10 overs.
Natarajan was then also seen featuring in India’s 2-1 series win in the subsequent three-match T20I series by taking six wickets during the series. He was added to the T20I squad after the injury of mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy who got his maiden India call-up before being ruled out.

On Friday, he debuts in the longest format of the game and took two crucial wickets for India in his 20-over spell on Day 1. He dismissed the Australia batsman Matthew Wade to get his maiden Test wicket and followed it up with the prized dismissal of the centurion Marnus Labuschagne.
