Former India player Virender Sehwag was shocked to see a fan has accurately predicted Virat Kohli’s innings in his 100th Test match against Sri Lanka in Mohali. The use has predicted Kohli’s exact score and the mode of dismissal and tweeted that as well. And, Kohli got out almost in a similar fashion on Day 1 of the ongoing series opener between India and Sri Lanka.

“Kohli won’t score a 100 in his 100th test. Will score 45 (100) with 4 gorgeous cover drives and then Embuldeniya will knock his stumps over and he’ll pretend to be shocked and will nod his head in disappointment,” the user wrote on social media at 12:46 AM on Friday. To which Virender Sehwag replied, “Wow!!!”

However, the ongoing first Test also marks the 100th Test match for former India captain Virat Kohli. However, he made headlines as he gave Sri Lanka fast bowler Suranga Lakmal a death glare. Notably, Lakmal is playing his last international series and after this, he will call it quits.

Team India posted 357 runs for 6 before the stumps on Day 1. After the day’s game, Hanuma Vihari said: “Felt good going out in the middle. I was batting well, and I had a good preparation. Great opportunity batting at number three for India. I am happy to bat wherever the team wants me to, but my most preferred position is number three, I have done it in first class cricket. I thought initially the ball was coming onto the bat well. But once the ball went old, it was difficult to time the ball well. Rishabh is a different kind of a batsman and it was a special innings. We all know how he bats, and it was a special innings today. He helped us get to 350+ on the first day, which will be helpful going forward.”
