Virender Sehwag is becoming the rockstar of Twitter with his humorous tweets. Sehwag was not in the commentary box during the first ODI match between India and New Zealand, but he couldn’t prevent himself to join the series build up.
New Zealand comfortably chased down India’s 281-run target while having six wickets in the hand. Tom Latham and Ross Taylor wrote the script of this famous win, as both of them shared the match winning 200-run stand for the fourth wicket.
Latham remained unbeaten on 103 while Taylor managed 95 and got out just one run short of taking his team home. Sehwag praised Taylor’s heroic efforts and congratulated him in one of his tweet, which reads;
Well played @RossLTaylor Darji ji . Great effort after handling the pressure of Diwali orders .#indvsnz

Former opener called him ‘Darji’ in his saying, as his sir name meant the same in Hindi language. But this time Taylor stunned everyone and clean bowled Sehwag. Irony was that, he replied to Viru’s tweet in Hindi. He wrote;
Thanks @virendersehwag bhai agli Baar Apna order time pe Bhej dena so Mai Apko agli Diwali ke pehle deliver kardunga ….happy Diwali

This sweet banter didn’t end here and Sehwag fired another cracker in Kiwi player’s direction and asked to short his pants by an inch from the next time;
Hahaha Masterji , is saal waali patloon hi ek bilaang choti karke dena next diwali pe. Ross the Boss, most sporting 🙂 https://t.co/FNpAwrWCB4

The middle-order batsman was ready for this bouncer and he hit it for a six. He wrote;
Has your Darji not done a good job this Diwali 😜?
— Ross Taylor (@RossLTaylor) October 23, 2017
However, Sehwag winded this with a well played shot and congratulated him for his partnership and victory. It reads;
No one can match up to your high standards of stitching Darji ji , whether it is a pant or a partnership @RossLTaylor https://t.co/WDInvXL4EW

With this stunning victory, Kiwi team is 1-0 up in the three-match ODI series in India. In the process, they also chased down the highest score in Wankhede Stadium. The next game will be played in Pune on 25 October, which will be the knockout match for host nation.
