India pulled off a stunning six-run win in the final Test to level the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2-2, wrapping up a fiercely contested five-match series against England. The Oval Test victory capped off a tour where both teams traded blows until the very end, with all five matches going deep into the final days.

The Indian side, filled with fresh faces and guided by new skipper Shubman Gill, showcased character and flair. Gill led from the front, amassing a series-high 754 runs. Ravindra Jadeja, too, impressed with over 500 runs and seven wickets, while Mohammed Siraj topped the wicket charts with 23 scalps.
Rishabh Pant marked his return with two centuries and three fifties in just four matches, and KL Rahul delivered 532 runs—India’s second-best tally by an opener in England. Yet, it was Washington Sundar who quietly emerged as India’s most valuable asset.
