The Indian cricketers have been doing pretty well in the ongoing County Championship 2922. Spinner Washington Sundar, who was playing his debut match for Lancashire, had a dream start as he managed to scalp four wickets and helped his side to get in a strong position against Northamptonshire.
The right-arm spinner bowled with excellent control over his line and lengths and did not let any opposition batters dominate against him. Sundar bowled 20 overs and gave just 69 runs and scalped four crucial wickets for his team on Day 1 and he would be looking to continue his performance on Day 2 as well.

For Northamptonshire, the wicket-keeper batter, Lewis McManus played an unbeaten knock of stood unbeaten on 59 at the end of Day 1, and he will be looking to take his team to a competitive total. Lancashire also has a strong batting line-up, and they will be looking to wrap up their opponents’ first innings as soon as possible and post a big total to get ahead in the match.
