The young Indian all-rounder, Washington Sundar has tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday and he is now doubtful for the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa, scheduled to be commencing on January 19. The 22-year-old spinner was to travel to Cape Town along with other members of the ODI squad but it is now doubtful if he will be able to fly down to South Africa at all.
When asked bout his condition, as per the quotes in Cricbuzz, Washinton Sundar said, “I have nothing to comment, I will come back to you soon.” Along with other members of the ODI squad, Sundar is believed to be in Mumbai from where the squad will fly over to South Africa on Wednesday morning.
