In the first Test match between England and India, Ravichandran Ashwin wasn’t included in the playing XI, but the decision wasn’t welcomed by many cricket experts and fans. In the Lord’s Test as well, Ashwin failed to make it into the playing XI. However, after Moeen Ali reaped rewards in the ongoing second Test, former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer has pointed that India might miss the services of Ashwin.
Wasim Jaffer posted a picture on his social media accounts wherein some dust is spotted after the ball had pitched. England all-rounder, Moeen Ali looked quite lethal with the ball in India’s second innings as he managed to turn the ball square. This prompted Jaffer to share the picture and leave a hint that India could’ve used these conditions well if they had Ashwin in the playing XI.

The picture portrays that the pitch seems to be assisting the spinners on the last couple of day of the Test match.
