On Thursday, the star cricketer AB de Villiers gave a testimony of most of the things he is capable of doing on a cricket field, whether it was about smashing the bowlers or taking surreal catches. However, his fans also got to witness an excellent display of his trademark sportsmanship. After entertaining the crowds with his sublime knock of 69, the RCB player showed utmost athleticism in the field by taking an unbelievable catch and also saved crucial runs to help RCB seal the victory.

AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali stitched together a 107-run partnership.

However, after all the post-match ceremony, De Villiers was spotted walking to the stands to appreciate the home crowd for their crucial support. He walked up to the fans, shaking hands, and even handed over a souvenir to a lucky fan. Later, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) posted a video of the same on their official Twitter handle. The caption of the tweet read, “Athletic, talented, charming. Add benevolent to the list to describe @ABdeVilliers17 Truly Superhuman #PlayBold #RCBvSRH #RCB.”

It was a clinical win for RCB as it helped them keep their hopes alive for qualifying for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. First, they put up a humongous total of 218-6 against the Kane Williamson led side Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and then sealed the game by a margin of 14 runs.

However, the Men in Orange showed some resistance and kept their hopes alive to win the game until the final over. Despite the significant performance from the skipper Williamson and Manish Pandey, the visitors could not ultimately taste victory, courtesy of an incredible death bowling performance from Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj, who was exceptional in this game.

RCB will now lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Saturday, which will be a must-win game for both the teams to qualify for the IPL 2018 playoffs.
