The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the match against Mumbai Indians convincingly by 54 runs on Sunday. While Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell performed with the bat, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel sealed the deal with the ball. And, after the win, AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell and others were seen enjoying themselves in the dressing room.
However, AB de Villiers was in a great mood. In a video shared by the franchise on its social media, the former South African player can be seen first jokingly referring to the match as boring. He then imitated the captain Virat Kohli in a hilarious way and also took a friendly dig at his passionate celebrations after the sarcastic comments of – “Stay calm lads, it’s just one game” as well.

On the other hand, veteran spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, whose bowling has changed the game for the RCB, also celebrated in their way after their first joint five-wicket haul helped RCB win. Even, the leg-spinner had teased Maxwell by imitating his “Catch of the Match” as well by using his phone.

Virat Kohli said: “We knew against a side like Mumbai, nothing is going to be given to us. We had to work hard for it and the accumulation of that hard work over 36 overs of the game… In the end, it was just one way street and we deserve to be in that position. … I never felt at any stage that we were going to be blown away in the game. That’s exactly what we wanted to do on the field… So we can be very proud of that but we should not get too excited with a win (chuckles).”

However, RCB now needs two wins of the rest of the four league games to qualify for the playoffs. They will next take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Wednesday in Dubai as well.
