Delhi Capitals are currently placed at the top of the IPL points table with 12 points in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They did really well as a unit under the leadership of wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who led the team quite well for the first time. With the second phase of the IPL is all set to taking place from tomorrow, all the players have prepared well. Meanwhile, a video of Anrich Nortje went viral.
However, experienced players like – Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Marcus Stonis, Shreyas Iyer and others are gearing up for the season. And, once again Anrich Norjte yet again will be the main bowler alongside another pacer Kagiso Rabada.
In a recent video, he can be seen giving a reply in Hindi about the climate. The Capitals shared the video on their official Twitter account with the caption: “Hopefully we can repeat what we did in that year in Dubai.” However, he said: “Garmi bahut hai, but theek hai”!

Meanwhile, there will be no change in the captaincy of the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the second leg of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the UAE. Rishabh Pant, who became the captain of the team in the absence of Shreyas Iyer, who had undergone shoulder surgery, will be seen playing the responsibility throughout the season.
Announcing the same, the Delhi Capitals (DC) tweeted, “JSW-GMR co-owned Delhi Capitals today announced that Rishabh Pant will continue as Captain for the remainder of the #IPL2021 season.”
However, just before the start of the tournament earlier this year, the regular captain of the Delhi team, Shreyas Iyer got injured during the series played against England while playing for India. He had a shoulder injury for which surgery was done. Now he has regained fitness and is ready to play in the remaining matches of this season.
