Moreover, Cricket Australia (CA) also questioned his retirement after he dismissed Usman Khawaja in a prolific fashion that left his teammates every player on the field and spectators in ambush.

During the 14th over, Sydney Thunder opener Callum Ferguson played the ball towards covers and tried to steal a single. There was a small confusion between Ferguson and Usman Khawaja but in the end, the Aussie international was sent back.

Meanwhile, the fielder threw the ball towards the non-strikers’ end that was brilliantly collected by Peter Siddle as he wiped off the bails from the stumps with a reverse flick. Later on, in the replay, it was clearly visible that the Thunder opener was found well short of the crease. Siddle himself was also surprised by his fielding effort.
