Apart from them, Punjab Kings’ Sarfaraz Khan too has been seen mimicking Darren Sammy’s playing style in front of players as well. While the video was funny, he also received Chris Gayle’s approval. However, his acting was so funny that everyone laughed at it, with Gayle saying, “Yeah, that’s Sammy. That’s Sammy for real!”.
But, despite having a roller coaster ride there, Punjab Captain KL Rahul had a stellar season as he won the Orange Cap, smashing 670 runs in 14 games. He also registered a century, and five half-centuries as well. On the other hand, Mohammed Shami was their highest wicket-taker, with 20 scalps. He was eighth in the Purple Cap race as well.

Meanwhile, Riley Meredith was bought for Rs 8 crore also. They bought Shahrukh Khan for Rs 5.25 crore and apart from them, they added Dawid Malan, Moises Henriques and Fabian Allen to the team for the upcoming season.
