Currently, one the biggest rivals of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are locking horns with each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. After winning the toss, the CSK skipper, Suresh Raina asked the visitors to bat first and his decision paid rich dividends as Quinton de Kock was dismissed by Deepak Chahar early.

During the toss, the MI skipper, Rohit Sharma said that they have made two changes in their squad as Ben Cutting and Mayank Markande made way for Evin Lewis and debutant Anukul Roy. On the other hand, CSK also made three changes as MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, and Faf du Plessis made way for Murali Vijay, Dhruv Shorey, and  Mitchell Santner.

Mumbai had a decent start to their innings as they scored just 13 runs in the first couple of over. However, De Kock started the third over with a six over the square leg boundary followed by a four on the very next ball of Deepak Chahar. After facing a dot ball, De Kock dismissed by the bowler on the third delivery while attempting a pull shot.

After his dismissal, Lewis and Rohit started a partnership and the former got a huge lifeline in the final over the powerplay. On the final ball of the 6th over, Harbhajan Singh bowled the ball in a lovely line as it was dipping at a length and earlier, it was looking like the Lewis missed the ball closely owing to some huge turn. The batsman was looking to defend the ball and in the replays, it was clearly shown that the ball a taken the outside edge of Lewis’ bat. However, none of the CSK players noticed that and they didn’t appeal. If Dhoni would’ve been as the wicket-keeper, it would’ve been appealed at least.
