English woman cricketer Danielle Wyatt, who is currently in India for a one-off “Indian Premier League-styled” women’s exhibition T20 match organized by the Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI), recently shared a video in which ‘she can be seen enjoying a Punjabi song.
Wyatt shared a video on her official Twitter handle. In the video, besides Wyatt, Indian women cricketers Harmanpreet Kaur and Veda Krishnamurthy can also be seen enjoying to the Punjab song “Gaal Ni Kadni.”
Wyatt captioned the video as: “Training Punjabi music on the way home.”

Earlier, Harmanpreet Kaur-led Supernovas beat Smriti Mandhana-led Trailblazers by three wickets in a last-ball Women’s T20 Challenge thriller at the Wankhede Stadium on May 22.
Wyatt emerged as the top run-scorer for Supernovas with 24 off 20 balls. During her stay at the middle, Danielle smashed two fours and one six.

However, during the first innings when Trailblazers captain Smriti Mandhana was dismissed on 14 runs. Australian women’s all-rounder Ellyse Perry was bowling in the other end for Supernovas while left-handed Mandhana attempted a shot over mid-on for a boundary. Running from the wide, Kaur grabbed that stunner by jumping in the air.
It was the perfect timing and technique from Kaur to grab that ball. Her superb athleticism helped to dismiss a dangerous batter cheaply. Every Supernovas’ member was enjoying that moment and appreciating her brilliant stunning effort.

Besides Danielle, Mithali Raj (22 off 17) and Harmanpreet Kaur (21 off 23 balls) were other leading run-getters for Supernovas.
Earlier, Trailblazers posted 129/7 in their 20 overs with Suzie Bates (32), Deepti Sharma (21) and Jemimah Rodrigues (25) scoring handsomely.
