Chris Gayle, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rohit Sharma were seen doing some dancing steps together with at the CEAT Cricket Ratings awards an award ceremony on Monday in Mumbai. The trio attended the award function and took the stage to have fun as the Indian Premier League (IPL) concluded on Sunday.

Chennai Super Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets to lift the IPL 2018 trophy and their third overall. But, it seems Dhawan has forgotten the defeat and is ready to move on and he did so in style bu sharing the stage with his Team India opening partner and the self-proclaimed Universe Boss.

In the awards department, India skipper Virat Kohli emerged as the International Cricketer of the Year and vice-captain Rohit Sharma collected the award on behalf of Kohli.

Dhawan was also named as the International Batsman of the Year Award, while New Zealand pace sensation Trent Boult won International Bowler of the Year Award.

Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who impressed one and all with the all-around skills in the playoffs, was presented with the T20 Bowler of the Year Award. New Zealand’s swashbuckling opener batsman Colin Munro won the T20 Batsman of the Year Award.

Swashbuckling Caribbean opener Chris Gayle was presented with the Popular Choice Award. Lifetime Achievement Award was bestowed on former India stumper Farokh Engineer.

Engineer hailed Rashid Khan saying he was a great ambassador for his country Afghanistan. He said, “I love his attitude towards the game. He is always smiling and looks to be enjoying. Sorry you didn’t enjoy much yesterday. But keep up that spirit. You’re a great ambassador for your country. I think you should be the Prime Minister of Afghanistan.”
