Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise has a huge fan following in the entire world where players are loved by the fans immensely as well. Recently, Dwayne Bravo and Faf du Plessis has also shared their love for the CSK team. Notably, they both are currently playing in the ongoing season of the Caribbean Premier League.
While DJ Bravo is the captain of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Faf du Plessis is leading the St Lucia Kings team. And, after the toss, they both express their love and affection for CSK. After winning the toss, DJ Bravo said “Chennai Super Kings” is an emotion. “We are the Chennai boys, making all the noise, everywhere we go,” he further added.

Notably, Bravo and Faf du Plessis both play for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and are considered key players as well. While Faf du Plessis’ quick scores help the side to put up or chase down totals easily, Bravo’s all-round ability is equally praiseworthy.

As far as the game is concerned, St Lucia Kings captain Faf du Plessis smashed an unbeaten 120 off 60 balls including 13 fours and 5 sixes. His knock helped the side put up a massive total of 224 in their allotted 20 overs. While chasing, Roston Chase also scored 64 off 31 balls including 7 boundaries and 3 sixes. But, his effort was not enough as they lost by 100 runs.

After the game, Andre Fletcher, who represented the Kings said: “It was a brilliant innings. He was under pressure from the start of the tournament and he did well. We don’t have great power at the back end. Our aim is to see if we can get a good start. We were confident with 224, but the Patriots had a good batting line-up. So we had to execute.”
Dwayne Bravo said: “It’s a groin strain. Felt it when I delivered that the ball and felt I shouldn’t continue. Have to get a scan after I get back to the hotel and see how bad it is. It’s a good cricket wicket. Faf, class player, got the better of us. We played well and won five games. Can’t fault the team. We accept the defeat, well played to them. Look forward to tomorrow’s game. Nothing to experiment. We got most things right. Just about having muscle memory and do those things. It’s important for us to be smart and not think about qualification. Best cricket wicket. Something for the bowlers (pacers), the spinners and the batters too. We look forward to tomorrow’s game.
