Cricket is evolving with time. Players have started playing shots that no one had thought of playing two decades ago. The introduction of T20 cricket has helped massively in this cause as it provides a platform for the batsman to show their creativity.
Earlier, batsmen were focused to master the book shots like straight drive, cover drive, pull and sweep. But now things have changed. These days batsmen practice reverse sweeps, scoops, switch hits and many other shots. Such shots help batsmen to score fast runs in every format, however, T20 cricket has brought this revolution.

Meanwhile, in the county cricket club match between Glamorgan and Gloucestershire, one such spectacular shot was witnessed. The shot was so good that even the commentators ran short of words.
Would you believe when a batsman reverse flicks the ball for a six? Well, many batsmen play this shot but only very few players have managed to pull off such a stunt.
Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers and Jos Buttler are famous for playing such shots across formats. Recently, New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips played a reserve sweep against a pacer for six runs.
