The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) holds a lot of promise for the veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh. The 37-year-old India veteran spinner’s selection in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) came as a surprise for many cricket fans. Earlier, a video surfaced on the internet, which (yet again) reveals that Bhajji is more than just a good bowler.
In order to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Harbhajan had released a music video called ‘Ek Suneha Part-2’. The occasion was the 87th anniversary of the day when Bhagat Singh was hanged till death. The first part of this song was released back in 2013.
While releasing the video, Bhajji said that the strength and courage that Bhagat Singh carried within himself can never be matched. Here’s the video of the song sung by Harbhajan:
This is not the first time that Bhajji has released a patriotic song. Even in July 2017, he sang a touching song dedicated to his mother. The song was known as ‘Meri Maa‘, written by Sanjay Glory and music has been given by Parveen Mehra.

Apart from cricket, the Indian turbanator always shows a keen interest in several other activities outside of the sport. Though he is no more under the consideration for getting selected in the national squad for quite a long while now, his fans eagerly watch him play in the IPL.
After playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the first decade of the cash-rich league, it’s the first time that he will be playing any other franchise. He was bought by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for INR 2 crore which was his base-price. Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, he played a memorable game against his old team in the tournament opener of this season, which was played at the Wankhede Stadium and CSK won the match with one ball to spare.
