Fielding plays a crucial role in T20 cricket and once again it proved to be true as New Zealand dropped numerous catches in the first T20I against India which allowed India to amass 202/3 in their 20 overs with the openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit scoring 80 runs each.

On the other hand, when India came out to defend the total, Martin Guptill lofted a delivery from Yuzvendra Chahal to deep long off where Hardik Pandya took a stunning catch, which will rate highly as one of best catches of the year in the outfield.
