India’s hard-hitting all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s run out earlier on Day 3 f the 2nd Test against South Africa in Centurion, hasn’t gone down well with the Indian cricket fans. He was looking good to make a strong partnership with the skipper Virat Kohli, but he was run-out in the most peculiar manner.

Though it looked like Hardik had made it comfortably back into the crease, he failed to drag his bat across the line and gifted his wicket to the South Africans. The TV replay showed that Pandya’s bat and foot were in the air.

Team India’s fortunes have been unbalanced in South Africa as Kohli reached his 21st century but the celebrations were soon spoiled by Pandya’s carelessness in the middle.

Pandya’s bizarre run-out, which has been proclaimed as ‘unforgivable’ by former India skipper Sunil Gavaskar, has given rise to many memes on Twitter. Here are some of them below:
