WATCH – Hasan Ali Lands In Another Controversy After A Ramp Walk

Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has always been known for getting into fresh controversies. The cricketer has been ruled out of the upcoming home Test series against Sri Lanka but he was seen walking the ramp at the Pakistan Fashion Week 2020. It was not too late for the video sparking a major controversy.

Ali played his last international match against India at the ICC World Cup while his latest competitive engagement was in the Quad-e-Azam Trophy tournament in Lahore in September. He was set to feature in the ninth round of the Quaid-e-Azam for Central Punjab against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but pulled out of the tournament after having an injury in the left rib.

After undergoing a precautionary scan in Karachi, it was revealed that he had cortical rib fractures, including the ninth rib on the right ride and eighth and ninth ribs on the left side. In a press release by the PCB, it said, “The fractures will require up to six weeks to heal and he will start a rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy from Monday.”

Hasan Ali also missed the three-match T20I and two-match Test series against Australia. He had recently married an Indian woman in Dubai in August, has represented Pakistan in 53 ODIs, 30 T20Is and nine Test matches in which he has claimed 148 scalps. The fans were though divided over the video which was shared on Twitter with one saying he was preaching negativity towards cricketers.

In April last year,  Ali was criticized after he made mocking gestures at the Indian security forces at the Attari-Wagah border during the flag-lowering ceremony. The Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is scheduled to commence on December 11 when the two sides meet for the first game in Rawalpindi. The second Test will be held in Karachi from December 19.
