While the Tamil Nadu Premier League is going on right now, a few performances have already stool the limelight. And, one of them is Athisayaraj Davidson. The pacer from the Nellai Royal Kings (NRK) was seen bowling with a similar action like the Sri Lankan legend, Lasith Malinga.

It happened during the sixth match of the TNPL. It was a match between the Nellai Royal Kings (NRK) vs Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG) where it was seen. Athisayaraj Davidson, the 29-year old Tamil Nadu Pacer has some great bowling skills. He can bowl from the different releasing areas in the one spell as well which gives him more options for taking more wickets.

However, he has been on the radar for quite some time now. Although he didn’t have more pace, his bowling actions help to develop him claiming wickets as well. So he is a well-known T20 specialist of Tamil Nadu also. So far he has played two matches in TNPL in which registered the figures of 1/35 and 2/31. Moreover, he has amazed viewers with his unique bowling action and he is likely to take more wickets as well.

Meanwhile, In the match against CSG, the middle-order batsman Sujay came on the crease after Kaushik Gandhi’s dismissal as he was unable to read the Indian version of Malinga’s delivery. He bowled the perfect inswinger Yorker length ball that sent him back to the pavilion on a duck as well.

And, after seeing this delivery viewers started remembering Lasith Malinga who had 546 International wickets in his name. Along with this, he also has 170 IPL wickets for Mumbai Indians as well. Due to which he has a massive fan following in India and is also known as ‘Slinga Malinga.’
