While the 2021 edition of the Big Bash League has been going on in full swing, the third match made headlines as Melbourne Renegades’ Jake Fraser-McGurk has taken a stunner in the boundary line and stole the show. Moreover, he then celebrated it in “Spiderman” style at the Docklands Stadium, Melbourne.
This happened in the seventh over of the Adelaide Strikers’ chase when Fraser-McGurk jumped to pick up the catch out of thin air at deep mid-wicket as well. Meanwhile, Renegades’ bowler Zakir Khan tossed up the delivery to Jake Weathereld, who tried a slog-sweep in the air. The ball looked like clearing the boundary with ease but Jake Fraser-McGurk has something else in mind. He timely jumped with perfection, stuck his hand out, picked up the ball, and landed well inside the boundary as well.
