Former South Africa player Jonty Rhodes, like other cricketers and sports-persons around the world, has been enjoying time with his family amid the coronavirus threat. However, he took to Twitter and shared a video where he can be seen making “bullet coffee”.

In the caption of the tweet, he wrote, “#stayhealthyathome #lockdown #stayathome”.

Many cricketers from India and other countries have been engaging with fans by sharing workout videos during the lockdown or chatting with them. However, his recent post on Twitter made fans crazy. In the video, Jonty Rhodes talks about how it is important to stay fit amid this situation.

He is considered as one of the best fielders across the globe. Rhodes made his debut for South Africa way back in 1992 against Australia in a One Day International. In the same year, he made his Test debut against India in November at Kingsmead in South Africa as well. He had played 52 Test matches and has scored 2,532 runs which came at an average of 35.17.

In ODI cricket, he has played 245 matches and amassed 5,935 runs with an average of 35.12. Jonty Rhodes is currently served the role as the fielding coach of the South African cricket team. He has also served as the fielding coach of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League as well.

On the other hand, the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League 2020 is likely to be cancelled due to the situation surrounding COVID-19, the novel coronavirus pandemic in India, as per the report in The Indian Express. The mega auction, which was scheduled to take place before IPL 2021, will also be postponed by a year. Moreover, the franchises can retain the same squads they have for this year’s league and they will be given an option to pick or drop players as well.
