Rahul has over 11 million followers on Instagram, where he regularly posts stuff. Among the most famous pics that Rahul shared is a ‘boy band’ pic where he can be seen with fellow Indian cricketers. Ishan Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Mayank Agarwal and Virat Kohli are with Rahul in that pic.
Talking about that pic, he mentioned while the idea was his, it was the wives who executed it. Rahul also explained the meaning behind some of his tattoos as well. Rahul had a terrific season with the bat in the Indian Premier League 2021, where he amassed 626 runs, just 9 runs less that the top-scorer Ruturaj Gaikwad. Also, he enjoyed a good time while batting in the Test matches on the English soil, where he notched up a terrific century at the Lord’s.

However, Rahul failed to deliver in the first two league matches of the T20 World Cup against Pakistan and New Zealand. He responded well against Afghanistan and Scotland but it was too late for him to change India’s fate as they failed to make it to the semi-final of the tournament.
