Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) team is currently in a happy space after winning two out of three matches in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) so far. The team is being led by the new skipper R Ashwin and they have formed a decent squad which can lift the trophy this year. Their opener KL Rahul has been in great form of late and has provided his team with a blistering starts so far in all the 3 matches. However, he is celebrating his 26th birthday on Wednesday and the team has ordered a special cake for him which is hilarious.

Rahul’s performance is of top-notch in the recent times and began the season by shattering the records in the IPL. He scored the fastest fifty in the history of IPL and set the ball rolling for his team and has carried on with the same form in the next couple of matches as well. He would be itching to continue the same form for the rest of the season as well and hope that he gives himself a birthday gift by playing a match-winning knock for his team in their next game.

KXIP players are currently in Mohali and celebrated KL Rahul’s birthday with a bang. But Chris Gayle who is known to be at the center stage of every occasion put his head from below the table which viewed as a cake as everyone burst into the laughter. Yuvraj Singh uploaded the video of the same in his latest Instagram story on Wednesday and the fans are absolutely loving the humor of the self-proclaimed ‘Universe Boss’.

Kings XI Punjab is set to face the table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday at PCA IS Bindra Stadium as they will aim to hand them their first defeat of the season.
