South Africa is in the deep trouble in this do or die match against India. AB de Villiers was ran out due to a brilliant work by MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya. De Villiers had scored just 16 runs off 12 balls. The incident happened in the 2nd ball of the 28th over.

Du Plessis tapped a Ravindra Jadeja ball towards point and looked up at Ab De Villiers. Ab de Villiers took off and dived full length but not before Hardik Pandya swooping in on the ball and sending a rocket throw right next to the stumps which Dhoni collected easily. Even a “superman” like dive wasn’t enough to save Ab De Villiers there.
