Mithali Raj led Indian women’s cricket team is currently in Mumbai where they are undergoing the mandatory quarantine period prior to their upcoming multi-format series against England. However, they have been practising hard in the gym. Recently, the official handle of BCCI Women took to Twitter and posted a video of the players where they can be seen working out in the gym as well.
They shared the post with the caption, “Shut the Noise! We are INDIA.” The women’s team will play against England in a one-off Test, three ODIs, and as many T20Is as well. Meanwhile, the two teams will first play in a four-day Test match, which will begin on June 16. Then both teams will take on each other three ODIs starting June 27 with the matches scheduled to take place at Bristol, Taunton, and Worcester as well.

Both teams will then play against each other in three T20 Internationals, beginning from July 9 and the three matches will take place at Northampton, Hove, and Chelmsford as well. The third T20I between England Women and Indian Women, which was scheduled for July 15, will now be played a day before in Chelmsford on July 14 instead of July 15 due to broadcasting issues as well.
“Date Change. For broadcast purposes, the third Vitality IT20 between England Women and India Women at the Cloudfm County Ground will now be played on Wednesday, 14 July,” England Cricket had tweeted on Tuesday.
