Former captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli was seen shaking his legs on the field before the match against Rajasthan Royals. However, other players were also there near the boundary line, as they were about to enter the field as well. And, then, Kohli was caught doing some dance moves and he was joined by Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel, and the current RCB skipper Faf du Plessis also.

As far as their performance is concerned, they have been doing well so far and currently taking on Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Skipper Faf du Plessis, after winning the toss, elected to bowl first and they got the success too as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal got out by pacer David Willey on 6/1 in 1.5 overs.

However, another opener Jos Butler and former RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal steadied the ship for the Royals. They added 70 runs for the second wicket before Padikkal (37 off 29 balls) got out by pacer Harshal Patel and Virat Kohli took a wonderful catch. Rajasthan were 76/2 at the halfway mark with RR skipper Sanju Samson joining the Butler in the middle. Later, Shimron Hetmyer smashed a quickfire 42 off 31 and guided his side to put up 169 runs in their allotted 20 overs.

While chasing, Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat added 55 runs before the former got out for 29. Rawat could manage 26 before Virat Kohli, David Willey and Sherfane Rutherford failed to contribute. They have managed to post 109 for 5 in 14 overs as well.

Faf du Plessis said at the toss: “We’ll have a bowl. Just the trend and with the dew effect. The pitch does look very different, so we’ll have to see what the dew does. The fact that pleases me is that we hung in in the last game. It gives a lot of confidence to the group. Even though you aren’t playing at your best, it is pleasing. We’re playing the same team.”
