Recently, in a viral video of social media, former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni was seen serving pani puris to his former teammates RP Singh and Piyush Chawla. In a video shared on Twitter, the former Indian skipper is seen standing near a pani puri stall along with a staff member at an event reportedly in the Maldives. 

When the camera pans, RP Singh and Piyush Chawla are seen standing on the other side of the stall. Dhoni then takes one puri and fills the stuffing and methodically adds all the southpaw seamer, who was recently appointed as a member of BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), extensively thanked his former teammate.

Dhoni’s fans reacted to the video and appreciated their hero on Twitter. “Multitailented man mahi,” a fan tweeted in response to the video. Another fan of Dhoni said, “My most favorite things in this world Mahi and pani puri”. “Mahi bhai is feeding pani puri now, but he will feed the bowlers sixers in the IPL,” another fan tweeted in Hindi.

The former India skipper has been on a sabbatical from competitive cricket ever since India suffered a loss against New Zealand in the semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2019 in July. He has also been dropped from BCCI’s centrally contracted players’ list last month. However, he has not let his fans down by making regular appearances on various social media platforms that are met with great enthusiasm from his huge fan base.

Often his wife Sakshi posts fragments of his life on her Instagram, and in a recent video, Dhoni was seen hilariously trolling her by telling the camera that she posts videos of him to try and increase her followers on Instagram.
