The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made the best imaginable comeback possible for a team in the history of IPL. After serving two years of suspension from the IPL, CSK became the champions of the 11th edition of the tournament. Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, the team won the IPL title for the third time. In the final, they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Sunday to etch their name in the history.

Many people were shocked after such performance from CSK as they had laughed and signed them off at the beginning of the tournament saying they are old guards. A win in the IPL final 2018 was an apt reply to all the critics who doubted them. Skipper MS Dhoni also mentioned that it is all about remaining fit and has nothing to do with the age.

Recently, a video is going viral which shows Dhoni and DJ Bravo was seen running between the wickets as a part of IPL victory celebrations. While Dhoni is known to have the quickest feet in cricket the West Indies all-rounder is no slowpoke. It is hard to comprehend a winner. Have a look at the video:

In the IPL final 2018, batting first SRH posted a competitive total of 178 for 6 in their quota of 20 overs. Skipper Kane Williamson with 47 runs was the top scorer for the side. It was a tricky total in terms of chasing and CSK think-tank sent Shane Watson and hero of the Qualifier 1 Faf du Plessis to open the innings.

While Du Plessis couldn’t able to his previous performance but it was his opening partner Watson who stuck around for a while. After 10 dot balls, Watson opened his account but the story was entirely different after 47 deliveries. The former Australia all-rounder smashed 117* from 57 balls which was laced with eight sixes and 11 fours. Due to Watson’s effort, CSK were able to overhaul the target as they made 181 for 2 in 18.3 overs.
