Bangladesh after batting first and posting 305/6 against England at the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 opener at the Oval, started their defense in a convincing manner by dismissing out of form Jason Roy within the first three overs of the innings.

Jason Roy attempted a chip over short fine leg fielder off the bowling of Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, but Mustafizur Rahman who was placed at the exact position where the bowl came pulled off a stunning catch to send Jason Roy back to the pavilion thereby ensuring the visitors the first wicket of the game.
