Australia’s ace spinner Nathan Lyon took a gem of a catch on the third day of the second Ashes Test to dismiss Moeen Ali. Ali’s dismissal increased the concerns of the visitors who were already suffering from the serious pace on offer.
Lyon made sure that he was good with the ball and could also take absolute blinders when required. He was bowling the 49th over of the England innings in the day-night Test in Adelaide when on the second delivery of the over, he left everyone jaw-dropped with his aerial ability.
The ace spinner bowled a flighted delivery and produced a chip return which was well wide of the bowler. Going to his left, Lyon jumped with his complete strength and plucked a one-handed screamer. Ali connected the shot pretty firmly but for Nathan coming out of nowhere with that catch.
