Pakistan and Australia are currently playing in a three-match Test series and the third Test of the series is currently taking place in Lahore. Australia captain Pat Cummins made headlines during Pakistan’s batting by taking a brilliant catch stunner his follow-through to dismiss Azhar Ali on 78 runs as well.

The Test series between Pakistan and Australia has become a decider one as the first two matches of the series have ended in a draw. The winner of the third Test will decide the winner of the series. Australia batted first in the Lahore Test and put up a total of 391 in the first innings. Usman Khawaja had scored 91 runs while Cameron Green hit 79 runs as well. Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah both scalped four wickets for Pakistan.

Pakistan, however, are playing in their first innings and two batters have already scored half-centuries so far. While Abdullah Shafique has scored 81 runs from 228 balls, the experienced Azhar Ali scored 78 runs from 208 balls as well. Meanwhile, Australia captain Pat Cummins provided a brilliant piece of fielding to send Azhar Ali in the hut. He was batting on 78 and played a shot straight to Cummins in the 87th over of the innings and he did no mistake as he was in the follow-through and successfully managed to grab a stunner as well.

Meanwhile, after the first day’s game, Shaheen Shah Afridi said, “I always try to take early wickets with the new ball. The wicket is pretty good for batting, my plan was to bowl in the right areas. We (the pacers) didn’t get a lot of help in the last two Tests, so we thought about being consistent, bowl wicket-to-wicket. We (as a bowling group) wanted to execute our plans and think we did so.”

It will be interesting to see which will team will have the last laugh or again the result will come out as a draw.
